Alberta's Youth Partner Licence Program allows an adult hunter to share his or her special licence opportunities with an eligible youth hunting partner. For just $12, you can share your hunting licence and mentor a youth.
Youth Hunting Opportunities
Opportunities are available to youth hunters ages 12 to 17 and include the following:
- Resident Youth Wildlife Certificates are available for $8.30. This fee includes a Game Bird Licence at no additional charge.
- Youth White-tailed Deer Licences are available for $8.25.
- Alberta Conservation Association will refund Alberta youths who complete the AHEIA hunter education program with the cost of their WiN card. For more information, visit:
Youth Hunter Training
To meet Alberta’s Hunter Eligibility criteria, youth hunters are required to complete a first time hunter training course and exam, available to be taken either in-person or online.
