For Non-resident Canadians and Non-resident Aliens
You are a Non-resident Canadian if
- you are not a resident of Alberta, but make your home in Canada, and
- you are ordinarily present in Canada, and
- you have lived in Canada for the 12-month period immediately preceding the relevant date
You are a Non-resident Alien if
- you are not a resident of Alberta
- you are not a non-resident Canadian
To hunt the following birds in Alberta:
- Grouse, Partridge, Ptarmigan, Pheasant, Migratory (waterfowl)
Non-resident Canadians require a Win Card, Wildlife Certificate, Game Bird Licence, Pheasant (if hunting pheasant); Federal Migratory Permit (if hunting waterfowl)
Non-resident Aliens require a Win Card, Non-resident Alien Wildlife Certificate, Upland Game Bird, Pheasant (if hunting pheasant); 6-Day Waterfowl and Federal Migratory Permit (if hunting waterfowl)
