In order improve services to Albertans, the Government of Alberta has recently updated the Alberta Wildlife Regulation to allow the carrying of licences electronically.

To support this, the AlbertaReLM app has been developed and released to act as an electronic wallet, allowing customers to save licences to their devices to carry with them in the field.

Using the app

With the AlbertaReLM app, you can:

  • Save licences to view offline
  • Access quick links to:
    • Complete harvest and effort reporting
    • View Regulations (PDF)
  • Purchase licences online at

Please remember that the only acceptable form of electronic licence is through the AlbertaRELM app and that hunters must be able to produce the electronic app or paper licence when requested by an Officer during field compliance checks.

For licences that require tags please remember that the associated tag forms part of the licence and must be physically produced.
